Auralia End of Year Update
What a great year 2011 has been. As we head into Christmas, we at Auralia would like to thank all of our hard working staff members, associates and families for putting up with our hectic workloads during the past year.
Most of all we’d like to thank you, our valued clients, industry peers, and mates for providing your business, support and friendship during 2011. We hope that 2012 will treat Auralia and the rest of you involved in the mining industry as well as 2011 hopefully did.
Diggers and Dealers Forum 2011
Auralia Directors Anthony Keers, Steve Lampron and Daniel Tuffin attended the 2011 Diggers and Dealers Forum in Kalgoorlie, WA. Once again it was a great trip back to Kalgoorlie, with many new contacts made and many old acquaintances re-affirmed.
We must once again say congratulations to our client Gold Road, who won the Best Emerging Company Award. Auralia has been working with Gold Road in the capacity of providing corporate Mining Engineering services and we're thrilled that all of the hard work of the Gold Road staff has been rewarded via such a prestigious industry award.
Indonesian Culture
One of the great advantages of travelling around the world in the role of a consultant is that we get to experience cultures from other countries. Auralia Mining Consulting Directors Daniel Tuffin and Steve Lampron recently experienced the dress of the Muslim religious holiday Eid al-Adha while onsite at the G-Resources Martabe Gold project in Indonesia. Steve is pictured with two of the onsite Engineers, Elvina Indriani (left) and Tiffany Pratiwi (right) who are wearing traditional dress for the morning ceremonies.
Donating To A Good Cause
Auralia believes in supporting charities within our local Western Australian community, particularly our peers within the mining sector who work hard towards raising money for a good cause.
Auralia has thus far made donations to the following organisations:
- Walk for a Cure (Diabetes)
- Movember (Mens Health)
- Telethon (Children’s Health)
- Worlds Greatest Shave (Leukaemia Foundation)
- Relay for Life (Cancer Council)

Asia Mining Congress 2012

A Lighter Side of Things
Auralia has a new Irish office?
On the lighter side of news, one of Auralia's client's from Troy Resources sent in the below snap while travelling through Kilkenny in Ireland. On review of the photo this clinic looks innocuous enough, but a quick review of their website at www.auralia.ie reveals that their primary services revolve around breast implants and enlargements.
Not unexpectedly, the mining lads don’t seem to mind the idea of getting to meet up with the pretty girls after their surgery! Now if only we could figure out a good cross-promotional event between the two companies.....
The Festive Season
Please note that the Auralia office will be closed from the 23rd of December and will re-open again on the 9th of January 2012. Although the office will shut during this period our consultants can still be reached via their email and/or mobile phone during this time for any ongoing work or new enquiries.
