Daniel moved into the realm of mining consulting in 2006, after spending time in Kalgoorlie working in various roles including Mine Surveyor, Production and Projects Engineer (SMP Fleets), Alternate Pit Superintendent, and Alternate Haulage Supervisor at the Kundana, Paddington, Mt Pleasant and Ora Banda mine site areas. Although the bulk of Daniel’s experience has been in gold, he has also spent time on Iron Ore sites in the north west of Australia, including Pannawonica, Tom Price and Marandoo.
Daniel holds degrees in Mining Engineering (BEng) from the University of Ballarat, Mining and Engineering Surveying (BSc) from WASM, a Diploma in Project Management is a Fellow and an accredited Chartered Professional with the AusIMM, and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, having completed their Company Director Course.
Daniel’s strengths lay in quality management, technical works, mentoring and board level consultation. Daniel also brings with him a wealth of open pit gold mining experience and a strong knowledge of Surpac, Whittle and Datamine software packages to Auralia Mining Consulting.
